Koh Pich City: Phnom Penh’s Evolving Waterfront Destination

Koh Pich (Diamond Island) has become one of Phnom Penh’s most dynamic districts, a place where the city’s growth, lifestyle, and culture converge. Located in Tonle Bassac of Chamkarmon District , it sits in the Bassac River at the confluence with the Mekong and Tonle Sap, just south of NagaWorld and the National Assembly, linked to the city by the Koh Pich bridges.

At its heart is the new Koh Pich Central Park , a six-hectare development by Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC) that connects the Swan Bridge to the landmark Koh Norea Bridge. Designed as a people-focused, sustainable green space, it reflects Phnom Penh’s vision of a modern city that blends business with everyday life.

With two-thirds of its spaces already secured by a curated mix of global brands, local favorites, and wellness outlets, Central Park is emerging as a lively hub where residents, visitors, and professionals can spend not just an hour but an entire day.

A Green Space To Relax, Gather, And Celebrate

At the center of the park sits the Central Park Pavilion Buddha , offering calm in the midst of city energy. Around it, visitors find more than two hectares of shaded walkways, open lawns, and landscaped greenery that are perfect for family time, quiet breaks, or weekend strolls. A children’s playground and flexible outdoor areas are ready to host markets, community workshops, and cultural events.

The design is inclusive and welcoming: pet-friendly, family-friendly, and fully walkable. Koh Pich City Hall adds another cultural anchor. Inspired by French neoclassical architecture, its 2,800 sqm venue has already hosted major events such as Cambodia Tech Catalyst (co-hosted by Google Cloud APAC and OCIC) and continues to draw concerts, conferences, and exhibitions.

Central Park sits at the very heart of Koh Pich. With four bridges channeling tens of thousands of vehicles each day, the district is seamlessly connected to Phnom Penh’s core. The park is surrounded by Grade-A office towers such as GIA and Morgan Towers, alongside Connexion, Aquation, and new premium residences like Diamond Bay Garden , scheduled for handover in 2026. Together, this area is home to more than 7,000 professionals and 15,000 residents , forming an instant built-in community.

Tenants include Phnom Penh’s second Starbucks Reserve , Kobe Teppanyaki , Kyō Shabu , and Breadtalk , alongside beloved Cambodian restaurants and cafes.
