Construction at J-Tower 3 Condominium continues to advance rapidly, hitting critical structural milestones as the record-breaking residential tower rises above the Phnom Penh skyline.
Following its official groundbreaking on December 27, 2023, Tanichu Assetment Co., Ltd. has progressed from subterranean foundation engineering into its vertical superstructure phase. As of the end of August 2026, the project has now completed the 2SL, 3SL and 4SL floors, while construction of the 5SL floor has begun and reached 15% completion. This shows that the project is rising steadily towards to highest height.
J-Tower 3 Construction Progress – August 2026
Structural construction remained the main focus throughout August. Multiple floor slabs were completed during the month, while steel composite, core wall, column, beam and slab works continued across different levels.
2SL Floor – 100% Complete
The 2SL floor reached 100% completion on August 1, 2026.
This represents a major step forward from the previous construction update, when formwork and rebar placement for the 2SL floor were still underway.
With this level completed, construction teams continued moving upward through the next structural floors.
3SL Floor – 100% Complete
Construction of the 3SL floor was completed on August 17, 2026.
During this stage, site teams carried out extensive structural works, including core wall formwork and rebar installation, column reinforcement, and related concrete works.
The site photos in the August report show reinforcement and formwork progressing around the tower’s core as the structure continued its vertical development.
4SL Floor – 100% Complete
Another major milestone followed shortly afterward, with the 4SL floor reaching 100% completion on August 23, 2026.
Construction activities for this level included several important structural stages:
Core wall reinforcement and formwork
Column reinforcement
Slab formwork
Beam reinforcement
Slab reinforcement
Slab inspection
Concrete casting
Concrete curing
The latest site photos show these works progressing from reinforcement and inspection through to concrete casting and curing of the completed 4SL slab.
5SL Floor Construction Begins
Following completion of the 4SL floor, construction teams immediately progressed to the next level.
As of August 25, the 5SL floor had reached 15% completion, making it the project’s current active slab level.
This continued upward movement demonstrates the transition from the project’s completed foundation and basement stages into sustained floor-by-floor superstructure construction.
Steel Composite Installation Advances to 9SL
Structural works are also progressing ahead of the active slab level.
The August construction report shows steel composite installation taking place from 7SL to 9SL, allowing the tower’s structural framework to continue advancing vertically while slab works proceed below.
This simultaneous activity is an important part of the construction sequence as J-Tower 3 begins to rise more visibly above its Tonle Bassac site.
